For control of weeds in wheat, potato, soybean, tomato and sugarcane. It is a pre-emergent herbicide and can also be applied as early post. It has broad spectrum control of both grasses and broad-leaf weeds.

FIRST AID

Metribuzin 70% WP should be available in the area where product is used, or in a nearby unlocked medicine cabinet.

If poisoning occurs, contact a Doctor or the local Poison Information Centre.

If swallowed, and if more than 15 minutes from a hospital, induce vomiting, preferably using Metribuzin 70% WP.

Eyes: If product gets in eyes, wash material from them with running water. If they begin watering or reddening, take special care in washing thoroughly.

Skin: If product gets on skin, thoroughly wash contacted areas. No further measures should normally be required unless irritation is noticed. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.

Inhalation: No first aid measures normally required. However, if vapours or mists have been inhaled, and irritation has developed, remove to fresh air and observe until recovered. If irritation becomes painful or persists more than about 30 minutes, seek medical advice.

MODE OF ACTION:

Selective systemic herbicide, absorbed predominantly by the roots, but also by the leaves, with translocation in the xylem. It inhibits photosynthesis. It acts on both grasses and broad leaf weeds.

ADVANTAGES :

1. It effectively controls Phalaris minor, which has developed resistance to most of the herbicides in addition to many other grasses and broad leaf weeds.

2. Sencor acts through the roots and leaves and therefore, can be used for both pre and post emergence applications.

3. Sencor is economical because of its broad spectrum activity and low dose.

4. No residual effect on succeeding crops.

RECOMMENDATION FOR USE:

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

This pesticide is toxic to mammals, birds, fish and aquatic invertebrates. Do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment rinsewater. Do not apply where/when conditions could favor runoff. Runoff from treated areas may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in neighboring areas. Cover, incorporate, or clean up granules that are spilled.

This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds while bees are actively visiting the treatment area.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

1. Keep in the original container tightly closed.

2. Keep out of reach of children.

3. Store in original container tightly closed and in a locked, dry, cool area away from 4. foodstuffs, drink, fertilisers and seeds.

5. Keep the temperature between 0-30 ^oC.

6. Handled with care in transit.

PERSONAL PROTECTION

Avoid contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of spray mist. When handling wear

appropriate eye protection, waterproof gloves, boots and overalls. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using. Remove protective clothing and wash hands and face thoroughly before meals and after work.

EQUIPMENT

Apply using well maintained and accurately calibrated equipment. Clean equipment thoroughly after use. Decontaminate spray equipment before using it on any sensitive crops.

DISPOSAL

Triple rinse empty container and add rinsate to the spray tank. Recycle empty container. Otherwise crush and bury in a suitable landfill. Dispose of product only by using according to the label, or at an approved landwill.

SPILLAGE

Wear appropriate protective clothing and prevent material from entering waterways. Absorb liquid spills with inert material and place in waste containers. Sweep up solids without creating dust. Wash area with water and detergent and absorb with further inert material. Dispose of waste safely in an approved landfills.

SHELF LIFE

When stored appropriately this product should show no significant degradation for 2 years from the date of manufacture. Contact your supplier for further information about the use of any product that is older than this.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your country, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation.

AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS

Use this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard. This Standard contains requirements for the protection of agricultural workers on farms, forests, nurseries, and greenhouses, and handlers of agricultural pesticides. It contains requirements for training, decontamination, notification, and emergency assistance. It also contains specific instructions and exceptions pertaining to the statements on this label about personal protective equipment (PPE) and restricted-entry interval. The requirements in this box only apply to uses of this product that are covered by the Worker Protection Standard.

Do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during the restricted entry interval (REI) of 12 hours.

For early entry to treated areas that is permitted under the Worker Protection Standard and that involves contact with anything that has been treated, such as plants, soil,

or water, wear: Coveralls over long sleeved shirt and long pants, Socks plus chemical resistant footwear.

Metribuzin 70% WP should be used only in accordance with recommendations on this label or in separate Xingyu supplemental labeling available through local dealers.

Xingyu will not be responsible for losses or damages resulting from use of this product in any manner not specifically recommended by Xingyu. User assumes all risks associated with such non-recommended use.
