For control of broadleaf weeds, sedge weeds and amaranthus weeds, bacterial weeds, convolvulaceae weeds, matricaria weeds and so on in paddy and wheat field, it is a specific herbicide for sedge weeds, monochoria presl weeds, siberia cocklebur and cephalanoplos segetum.

DANGER

Engineering control of operator exposure must be used where reasonably practicable in addition to the following personal protective equipment:

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (COVERALLS), SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND FACE PROTECTION (FACESHIELD) when handling the concentrate.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (COVERALLS) AND SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES when handling contaminated surfaces.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (COVERALLS) when applying by vehicle-mounted equipment.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (IMPERMEABLE COVERALLS) AND SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES when applying by hand-held equipment.

AVOID ALL CONTACT WITH SKIN AND EYES.

WASH ANY CONTAMINATION from skin or eyes immediately.

WHEN USING DO NOT EAT, DRINK OR SMOKE.

WASH HANDS before meals and after work.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

KUAI LE DAO is a selective post-emergence herbicide for the control of certain broadleaf weeds in rice. It is combination of bentazone and MCPA. As a foliar herbicide, good coverage is essential. Application should be made to fully exposed weeds, prior to flowering. Best results will be achieved when application is made to actively growing weeds.

MIXING

Add the required amount of KUAI LE DAO to clean water in the sprayer. Ensure thorough mixing before spraying and use immediately.

FIRST AID MEASURES

General advice

Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose of safely.

Inhalation

Move to fresh air, do not drink milk or wine. Bring the label and seek medical help.

Skin contact

Wash off thoroughly with plenty of water and soap, subsequently rinse with water. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

Eye contact

In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS

Harmful if swallowed.

Will damage eyes. Avoid contact with eyes. If product in eyes, wash it out immediately with water. Wash hands after use.

Repeated exposure may cause allergic disorders.

When opening the container, preparing the spray and using the prepared spray, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist and a washable hat, elbow-length PVC gloves and face shield or goggles.

After each day's use, wash gloves, face shield or goggles and contaminated clothing.

WATER MANAGEMENT

KUAI LE DAO is a foliar contact herbicide and therefore thorough coverage of the foliage is essential. Hence it is necessary to lower water levels to expose all weeds and soil surface. Submerged weeds will not be controlled. Floodwater can be re-applied 8 hours after application.

After application of KUAI LE DAO Herbicide, do not drain rice water into regional drains for 21 days or for the period set by the local irrigation or environment authority, whichever is the greater.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. Do NOT dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. If recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to recycler or designated collection point. If not recycling, break, crush or puncture and bury empty containers in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury the containers below 500 mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and product should NOT be burnt.

PRECAUTIONS:

1. The rice leaves will hang down, this phenomenon do not effect rice growth. Return to normal after 5-7 days.

2. Do NOT apply under weather conditions, or from spraying equipment, that may cause spray to drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, cropping lands, pastures or aquatic areas.

AVOID DRIFT onto neighboring crops, especially cotton, tomato, rape, bean crops, melon crops and vegetables.

3. Do NOT apply more than once per season to any one crop.

4. Use the higher rate for large weeds.

5. Do NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used containers.

6. DO NOT apply if rain is expected within 8 hours.
