FIRST AID

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

Do NOT induce vomiting.

Dispose of contents/container to a licensed hazardous waste disposal contractor or collection site except for empty, clean containers which can be disposed of as non-hazardous waste.

To avoid risks to human health and the environment, comply with the instructions for use.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Operator protection

Engineering control of operator exposure must be used where reasonably practicable in addition to the following personal protective equipment:

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING

(COVERALLS), SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND

FACE PROTECTION (FACESHIELD) when handling the concentrate.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES when handling contaminated surfaces and when applying by hand held equipment.

WHEN USING DO NOT EAT, DRINK OR SMOKE.

WASH CONCENTRATE from skin or eyes immediately.

AVOID ALL CONTACT BY MOUTH.

DO NOT BREATHE SPRAY.

WASH HANDS AND EXPOSED SKIN before meals and after work.

IF YOU FEEL UNWELL, seek medical advice immediately (show label where possible).

Environmental protection

Do not contaminate water with the product or its container. (Do not clean application equipment near surface water/Avoid contamination via drains from farmyards and roads). To protect aquatic organisms respect an unsprayed buffer zone to surface water bodies.

DO NOT ALLOW DIRECT SPRAY from horizontal boom sprayers to fall within 5 m of the top of the bank of a static or flowing water body, unless a local authority permits a narrower buffer zone, or within 1m of the top of a ditch which is dry at the time of application. Aim spray away from water.

Storage and Disposal

KEEP IN ORIGINAL CONTAINER, tightly closed, in a safe place.

WASH OUT CONTAINER THOROUGHLY, empty washings into spray tank and dispose of safely.

DO NOT RE-USE CONTAINER FOR ANY PURPOSE.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

1. Apply 1.5L-1.8L per hectare during 1.5-2.5 leaf of barnyard grass, add 300-450kg per hectare water during 2-3 leaf of Semen Euphorbiae, spray to stems and leaves evenly.

2. Drain off water before applying the product.

3. Keep 2/3 stems above the water, irrigate water after 24-72 hours of handling. Keep 3-5 cm of the layer of water 5-7 days.

Note:

1. Use only once every season.

2. When handling wear appropriate eye protection, waterproof gloves, boots and overalls. Avoid inhaling.

3. The product is very toxic to aquatic arthropod, avoid flowing to aquatic habitats.

RESTRICTIONS/WARNINGS

Seedbed preparation

Trash and straw should be incorporated evenly during seedbed preparation.

Seedbed must have a fine, firm tilth.

Consolidate loose or cloddy seedbeds before use.

Following pre-emergence applications, unconsolidated clods may reduce the level of weed control and cause seed to be inadequately covered, which could result in crop damage.

Crop safety

Extreme care must be taken to avoid spray drift onto plants outside of the target area.

Do not apply FU MAN DAO^® to crops suffering from stress, which may be caused for example by pests, disease, water logging, poor seedbed conditions or previous chemical treatment.

Seed should be covered with a minimum of 3.2cm of settled soil.

Shallow drilled crops should be treated post-emergence.

Do not soil incorporate.

Do not spray undersown crops.

Do not undersow crops treated with FU MAN DAO^®.

FU MAN DAO^® should not be used on protected crops, or in greenhouses.

Other Restrictions/Warnings

Before using FU MAN DAO^® on crops to be processed please consult your processor.

Concentrated or diluted FU MAN DAO® will stain. Avoid spillage.

Staining is minimised or completely removed if skin and clothes are washed immediately.

Hose down machinery immediately after use with a spray tank cleaner.

WEED CONTROL

Mixing

Never prepare more spray solution than is required.

Half fill the tank with clean water and start the agitation. To ensure thorough mixing of the product, invert the container several times before opening.

Add the required quantity of FU MAN DAO^® to the spray tank while re-circulating. Fill up the tank with water and continue agitation until spraying is completed.

When tank mixes are to be used, take due note of any instructions given as to the order of mixing. Each product should be added separately to the spray tank and fully dispersed before the addition of any further product(s).

On emptying the container, rinse container thoroughly by using an integrated pressure rinsing device or manually rinsing three times. Add washings to sprayer at time of filling and dispose of container safely.
