FIRST AID

IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

IF Swallowed: Immediately call a poison control center or doctor. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give any liquid to the person. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Note to Physician: Contains petroleum distillate - vomiting may cause aspiration pneumonia. No specific antidote. Provide supportive care. Treatment should be based on physician's judgment in response to reactions of the patient.

Dispose of contents/container to a licensed hazardous waste disposal contractor or collection site except for empty, clean containers which can be disposed of as non-hazardous waste.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Operator Protection

Engineering control of operator exposure must be used where reasonably practicable in addition to the following personal protective equipment.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING(COVERALLS) AND SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES when handling the concentrate.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES when handling contaminated surfaces.

However, engineering controls may replace personal protective equipment if they provide an equal or higher standard of protection.

WASH ALL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING thoroughly after use, especially the insides of gloves.

WASH SPLASHES from skin immediately.

WASH HANDS AND EXPOSED SKIN before meals and after work.

DO NOT allow entry into treated areas for irrigation and scouting until the spray has dried unless wearing cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist (or equivalent clothing) and chemical resistant gloves.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

This product is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark except when treating rice fields as specified in this product label. Drift from ground or aerial applications is likely to result in damage to sensitive aquatic organisms in water bodies adjacent to the treatment area. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash waters or rinsate.

Surface Water: This chemical can contaminate surface water through spray drift from aerial and ground application equipment. Treated rice field water can contaminate surface water through accidental release or overflow, or by deliberate release due to normal growing practices, including interim or final release of flood water at harvest.

Groundwater: This chemical demonstrates the properties and characteristics associated with chemicals detected in groundwater. The use of this chemical in areas where soils are permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow, may result in groundwater contamination.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Store in the closed original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. DO NOT store near feedstuffs, fertilisers or seeds.

This container can be recycled if it is clean, dry, free of visible residues. Triple or pressure rinse container for disposal. Dispose of rinsate by adding to the spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. Wash outside of the container and the cap. Store cleaned container in a sheltered place with cap removed. It will then be acceptable for recycling at any collection or similar container management site. The cap should not be replaced but may be taken separately. If not recycling, break, crush or puncture and deliver empty packaging for appropriate disposal to an approved waste management facility. If an approved waste management facility is not available, bury the empty packaging 500 mm below the surface in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose, clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots, in compliance with relevant Local, State or Territory government regulations. DO NOT burn empty containers or product.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

RESTRICTIONS

Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your state or tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation.

DO NOT spray crops which are under stress at the time of application, e.g. weather extremes (drought, water-logging, frost), pest or disease attack or nutrient deficiency. Any crop stress or environmental factors which decrease plant metabolism and growth may reduce weed control efficacy and crop tolerance.

Preharvest Interval: Do not apply within 60 days of rice harvest.

Do not rotate treated land to crops other than rice for 3 months following application.

Do not use organosilicone surfactants or malathion or methyl parathion in spray mixtures of this product.

Do not apply where runoff or irrigation water may flow directly onto agricultural land other than rice fields. Do not apply PRODUCT directly to, or otherwise permit Rebel PRODUCT to come into contact with, cotton, soybeans, grapes, tobacco, vegetable crops, flowers, ornamental shrubs or trees, pome/stone/nut trees, or other desirable broadleaf plants, as serious injury may occur. Do not permit spray mists containing PRODUCT to drift onto desirable broadleaf plants.

Do not apply PRODUCT directly to, or otherwise permit PRODUCT to come into contact with, non-target grass crops and cereals such as corn, sorghum, wheat, sugar cane, turf grass, sod farms, grass grown for seed, etc.

Application of PRODUCT to fields which have been leveled (except water leveling) within 12 months prior to application may result in serious rice injury in areas that have been cut or filled.

Always use clean water with spray mixes of PRODUCT . Do not use water containing rinsate from a previous spray solution, even at low concentrations, as this may reduce grass weed control from PRODUCT . Do not overlap or double spray ends of fields.

RESISTANCE

PRODUCT is a member of the aryloxyphenoxy propionate group of herbicides. The product has the acetyl COA carboxylase inhibitor mode of action. For weed resistance management PRODUCT is a Group A herbicide.

Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to the product and other Group A herbicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any weed population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if these herbicides are used repeatedly. These resistant weeds will not be controlled by the product or other Group A herbicides.

Since the occurrence of resistant weeds is difficult to detect prior to use, XINGYU CHEMICAL accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of the product to control resistant weeds.

WEEDS CONTROLLED

Optimum weed control is best achieved when all the grass weeds have emerged and are actively growing under good conditions. If broad-leaved weeds are present it is advised to apply in mixture with a suitable broad-leaved herbicide.

PRODUCT must be applied directly to the foliage of actively growing weeds by aircraft or ground boom equipment.

Apply post-flooding. Water must be at least 1-2 cm deep in fields at spraying to ensure active growth of weeds and sufficient exposure of weeds to allow coverage by the foliar spray.

Commence reflooding after 2 hours and fill as soon as possible to limit germination of new weeds and maximize weed control.

Only use 0.75L/ha for 3-4 leaf weeds when light weed infestations, excellent soil moisture and good crop competition is present. Use the 1L/ha rate if any of these conditions are not present at treatment time.

MIXING

Add water to the spray tank to 10 cm above the level of agitation and ensure the agitation device is working vigorously. If tank mixing, firstly add any soluble liquid formulations and allow agitation for approximately one minute. Then add PRODUCT at the point where agitation is strongest. Allow further agitation for one minute. Half fill the spray tank. If using wettable powder or water dispersible granules, or other emulsifiable concentration formulations, these should be added after the PRODUCT to the half-full spray tank, ensuring vigorous agitation. Finally add spraying oil and continue filling the tank to the required volume, maintaining agitation at all times. Only mix sufficient solution for immediate use. PRODUCT and any other tank mixes should be applied immediately for best results.

COMPATIBILITY

PRODUCT can be tank mixed with the herbicide pendimethalin. DO NOT apply this product as a tank mix with MCPA, bensulfuron methyl or carfentrazone as reduced grass weed control will occur. If these products are to be used in the same spray program as this product, separate applications by at least 7 days.

XINGYU CHEMICAL warrants that this product conforms to the chemical description on the label and is reasonably fit for the purposes stated on the label when used in strict accordance with the directions, subject to the inherent risks set forth below. XINGYU CHEMICAL MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR ANY OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY.

Inherent Risks of Use

It is impossible to eliminate all risks associated with use of this product. Crop injury, lack of performance, or other unintended consequences may result because of such factors as use of the product contrary to label instructions (including conditions noted on the label, such as unfavorable temperatures, soil conditions, etc.), abnormal conditions (such as excessive rainfall, drought, tornadoes, hurricanes), presence of other materials, the manner of application, or other factors, all of which are beyond the control of XINGYU CHEMICAL or the seller. All such risks shall be assumed by buyer.

Limitation of Remedies

To the extent permitted by law, the exclusive remedy for losses or damages resulting from this product (including claims based on contract, negligence, strict liability, or other legal theories), shall be limited to, at XINGYU CHEMICAL' election, one of the following:

(1) Refund of purchase price paid by buyer or user for product bought;

(2) Replacement of amount of product used.

XINGYU CHEMICAL shall not be liable for losses or damages resulting from handling or use of this product unless XINGYU CHEMICAL is promptly notified of such loss or damage in writing. In no case shall XINGYU CHEMICAL be liable for consequential or incidental damages or losses.

The terms of the Warranty Disclaimer, Inherent Risks of Use, and this Limitation of Remedies cannot be varied by any written or verbal statements or agreements. No employee or sales agent of XINGYU CHEMICAL or the seller is authorized to vary or exceed the terms of the Warranty Disclaimer or this Limitation of Remedies in any manner.
