Control of gramineous, sedges and broad-leaf weeds, especially lecrsia oryzoides, Paspalum paspaloides (Michx.) Scribn, needle spikesedge herb, Echinochloa spp. (Barnyard-grass), in direct-seeded rice. Also used to stunt growth of weeds in non-crop situations.

DANGER

Engineering control of operator exposure must be used where reasonably practicable in addition to the following personal protective equipment:

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (COVERALLS), SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND FACE PROTECTION (FACESHIELD) when handling the concentrate.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (COVERALLS) AND SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES when handling contaminated surfaces.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (COVERALLS) when applying by vehicle-mounted equipment.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (IMPERMEABLE COVERALLS) AND SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES when applying by hand-held equipment.

AVOID ALL CONTACT WITH SKIN AND EYES.

WASH ANY CONTAMINATION from skin or eyes immediately.

WHEN USING DO NOT EAT, DRINK OR SMOKE.

WASH HANDS before meals and after work.

FIRST AID MEASURES

An antidote is a substance intended to counteract the effect of a poison.

It should be administered only by a physician or trained emergency personnel.

Medical advice can be obtained from a POISON CONTROL CENTER.

In case of contact: Flush eyes continuously with water for 15-20 minutes. Flush skin with water for 15-20 minutes. If no burns have occurred-use soap and water to cleanse skin.

If inhaled remove patient to fresh air. Administer oxygen if patient is having difficulty breathing. If patient has stopped breathing administer artificial respirations. If patient is in cardiac arrest administer CPR.

Continue life supporting measures until medical assistance has arrived.

If patient is exhibiting signs of shock - Keep warm and quiet. Contact Poison Control Center immediately if necessary. Do not administer liquids or induce vomiting to an unconscious or convulsing person.

If patient is vomiting-watch closely to make sure airway does not become obstructed by vomit.

If swallowed, rinse out mouth with water, providing the person is conscious. Get medical attention if necessary. Remove and wash contaminated clothing.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

Application of this product will kill almost all plants contacted. Do not allow this product to contact leaves, green stems, or exposed roots of desirable lawn grasses, plants, shrubs, or trees – they will be damaged or killed.

Spray when air is calm. If spray contacts desirable foliage, immediately rinse the foliage with water. Use cardboard or plastic to shield desirable plants from spray drift.

MIXING

Add the required amount of DAO DIAN TOU to clean water in the sprayer. Ensure thorough mixing before spraying and use immediately.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Handling: Avoid breathing vapors or mist. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Washing thoroughly after handling this product. Do not store or consume food, drink or tobacco in areas where they may become contaminated with this material. Storage: Keep out of reach of children. Store in the tightly closed original container in a dry, well ventilated area, as cool as possible. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.

Do not store near any material intended for use or consumption by humans or animals.

APPLICATION

Remove water from rice field

Mix required dosage (80-120 ml per acre) with adequate quantity of water

Use flat fan/ flood jet nozzle for spray and spray uniformly over the targeted plants

Spray mist should cover the foliar parts of weeds at application

Refill the field with water within 2-3 days of application

Maintain standing water of 3-4 cm for a minimum of 10 days

Precautions

Do not spray if the rains are expected;

Do not apply by sand mix technique;

Do not spray without draining out the water from the field;

Do not tank mix with sulphur and copper containing pesticides.
