FIRST AID

IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

IF IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a poison control center or doctor. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give any liquid to the person. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or doctor, or going for treatment.

Dispose of contents/container to a licensed hazardous waste disposal contractor or collection site except for empty, clean containers which can be disposed of as non-hazardous waste. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

To avoid risks to human health and the environment, comply with the instructions for use.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Keep out of reach of children. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using.

Equipment

Apply using accurately calibrated and maintained equipment.

Storage

Store in the original, unopened container in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight and away from stockfeed or foodstuffs. Storage of PRODUCT must be carried out in such a manner as to prevent contamination of waterways.

Shelf life

When stored appropriately this product should show no significant degradation for two years from the date of manufacture. Contact your supplier for further information about the use of any product that is older than this.

Protective Clothing

When mixing or applying wear appropriate protective clothing including cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist, impervious, elbow-length gloves, and eye protection.

Remove protective clothing and wash hands, arms and face with soap and water before meals and after work.

Spillage

Exclude all bystanders from the vicinity of the spill and prevent material from entering waterways. Wear appropriate protective clothing as in the Precautions box of this label to clean up spills. Absorb spills with an inert (such as vermiculite, earth, sand or synthetic absorbent substance) material and place in waste containers. Wash area with water and alkaline detergent then absorb any remaining liquid with further inert material. Dispose of the waste safely in an approved landfill.

Container Disposal

Ensure container is empty. Triple rinse empty container and add rinsate to spray tank. DO NOT reuse this container for any other purpose.

Product disposal

Dispose of this product only by using according to the label, or at an approved landfill or other approved facility.

Environmental Protection

Do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when cleaning equipment or disposing of equipment washwaters. PRODUCT herbicide should not be used in areas where irrigation or rainfall results in the direct or indirect (via ditches and canals) contamination of surface waters through dissolved runoff or erosion of soil particles to which oxadiazon is absorbed.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

RESTRICTIONS OR WARNINGS

Read entire label before using this product. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation.

DO NOT apply when crop is under stress, such as in frosty weather or when frost is expected, insect attack, manganese deficiency, wind damage or where there is possible check from earlier pesticide treatments.

Use the lower rate on seedling grass weeds (2-5 leaf) or actively regenerating rhizomes and the higher rate on tillering plants or hardy rhizomatous grasses. On established sod-bound rhizomatous grasses in non-cultivated crops, suppression only may be obtained.

PRODUCT is not specified for use on vegetable crops being grown for seed production unless specific use directions are provided.

A period of at least twelve hours without rain should follow spraying otherwise weed control may be reduced.

Do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during the restricted entry interval of 24 hours.

To minimize any possible crop damage, avoid spray overlaps.

CONSULT PROCESSORS BEFORE USING ON CROPS RECOMMENDED FOR PROCESSING.

WEEDS CONTROLLED

ANNUAL WEEDS

Apply only to actively growing grasses at recommended weed heights.

Apply when the first grass weed species in a mixed grass weed population reaches the recommended growth stage for treatment.

Use the high rate under heavy grass pressure and/or when grasses are at maximum height.

Caution

The new young leaves and shoots of all plants are particularly susceptible to damage. If treatment is made during the growing season (see crop timing recommendations) young foliage must be avoided.

Timing

A maximum of 8 L/ha may be applied in any 12 month period.
