DANGER

Engineering control of operator exposure must be used where reasonably practicable in addition to the following personal protective equipment:

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (COVERALLS), SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND FACE PROTECTION (FACESHIELD) when handling the concentrate.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (COVERALLS) AND SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES when handling contaminated surfaces.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (COVERALLS) when applying by vehicle-mounted equipment.

WEAR SUITABLE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING (IMPERMEABLE COVERALLS) AND SUITABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES when applying by hand-held equipment.

AVOID ALL CONTACT WITH SKIN AND EYES.

WASH ANY CONTAMINATION from skin or eyes immediately.

WHEN USING DO NOT EAT, DRINK OR SMOKE.

WASH HANDS before meals and after work.

FISRT AID

Inhalation: First aid is not generally required. If in doubt, contact a Poisons Information Centre or a doctor.

Skin Contact: Wash gently and thoroughly with water (use non-abrasive soap if necessary) for 5 minutes or until chemical is removed.

Eye Contact: No effects expected. If irritation does occur, flush contaminated eye(s) with lukewarm, gently flowing water for 5 minutes or until the product is removed. Obtain medical advice if irritation becomes painful or lasts more than a few minutes. Take special care if exposed person is wearing contact lenses.

Ingestion: If swallowed, induce vomiting. Wash mouth with saline solution and contact a Poisons Information Centre, or call a doctor.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.

General Information

HUO BAO is an emulsifiable concentrate containing 3% Quizalofop-P-ethyl and 27% Bentazone, a residual and contact herbicide. It is recommended for use in potato, soybean, peanuts and mung bean field. HUO BAO is a post- emergence herbicide which is particularly active against annual gramineous and broadleaf weeds.

MIXING

Use the higher rate if weeds damage is severe.

Ensure the sprayer is clean and in good working order. Calibrate according to sprayer manufacturers' recommendations.

Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and add the required quantity of HUO BAO. Add the remainder of the water and continue agitation until spraying is complete.

RINSE CONTAINER THOROUGHLY by using an integrated pressure rinsing device or manually rinsing three times. Add washings to sprayer at time of filling and dispose of container safely.

Wash out the sprayer thoroughly after use by rinsing three times with water.

FIRST AID MEASURES

General advice

Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose of safely.

Skin contact

Wash off thoroughly with plenty of water and soap. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

Eye contact

In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice.

Ingestion

Rinse mouth. Drink large amount of saline solution clean the intestines and stomach. Induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention with the label.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well ventilated area. DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.

Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. DO NOT dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. If recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to recycle or designated collection point. If not recycling, break, crush or puncture and bury empty containers in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.
