Not decomposed at 150 °C (by DSC) or after 14 d at 22 °C and 55 °C. Aqueous photolysis: DT50 for (E)- isomer 231 d in natural water, 491 d in distilled water, for (Z)- isomer 178 d in natural water, 301 d in distilled water    

Uses Selective control of barnyard grass (Echinochloa spp.) in paddy rice; applied early post-emergence, at 30–120 g/ha.
